Parental support is vital to the success of many programs and activities at Parishville-Hopkinton CSD. It is our goal to involve all parents on some level this year.
The purpose of the Parishville-Hopkinton PTSA is:
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school and community.
- To promote communication and cooperation between Parishville-Hopkinton students, parents, teachers, administration and community.
- To provide volunteer assistance to teachers and the school district.
- To raise funds in furtherance and support of the purposes listed above.
Some of last year's accomplishments include:
- Funded for an author visit by Eric Carle, plus books for both the elementary and high school libraries.
- Funded computer equipment for the grade 5/6 Lego League, Iditarod GPS tracking for the grade 3/4, and school supplies for the Art Department and Math Buddies.
- Provided trophies for the annual elementary spelling bee.
- Offered a senior scholarship and three Clarkson Horizons Program scholarships.
- Provided refreshments for grandparents day and teacher appreciation week.
