To celebrate birthdays, Mrs. Reed offers every elementary student a book of their choice - to keep! Books are available for perusing in the elementary office. The PTSA helps to fund this program.

Get Involved!

There are many ways to get involved:

Attend a PTSA meeting - held every month. Bring your ideas, or just come and listen!

Become a PTSA member - fill out the membership form and return it to the school with your $3.50 membership fee. Members are able to vote on all issues. Everyone’s voice will be heard.

Volunteer - contact your child's teacher, principal, or the PTSA and ask how you can help out/get involved!

Donations - support our efforts! All donations are tax deductable.

The PTSA can be contacted via our mailbox in the elementary school office, or by email/telephone.

About Us

Parental support is vital to the success of many programs and activities at Parishville-Hopkinton CSD. It is our goal to involve all parents on some level this year.

The purpose of the Parishville-Hopkinton PTSA is:

To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school and community.
To promote communication and cooperation between Parishville-Hopkinton students, parents, teachers, administration and community.
To provide volunteer assistance to teachers and the school district.
To raise funds in furtherance and support of the purposes listed above.

Some of last year's accomplishments include:

Funded for an author visit by Eric Carle, plus books for both the elementary and high school libraries.
Funded computer equipment for the grade 5/6 Lego League, Iditarod GPS tracking for the grade 3/4, and school supplies for the Art Department and Math Buddies.
Provided trophies for the annual elementary spelling bee.
Offered a senior scholarship and three Clarkson Horizons Program scholarships.
Provided refreshments for grandparents day and teacher appreciation week.
